For the worship leader. A Psalm by David. A song. God, praise is waiting for you in Zion. Promises made to you will be kept.
You who hear prayer, everyone will come to you.
Sins overcame me, but you forgave our wrongdoings.
Blessed is the one you choose and bring near to live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.
You answer us with awesome acts of righteousness, God of our salvation. You are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those far away on the sea.
By your power you form the mountains; you are armed with strength.
You calm the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
Even those who live in faraway places are awed by your wonders. You make the sunrise and sunset sing with joy.
You care for the earth and water it. You make it very rich. The river of God is full of water. You provide people with grain, because you have arranged it this way.
You drench its furrows and level its ridges. You soften it with showers and bless it with a good harvest.
You crown the year with your good gifts. Your wagons overflow with abundance.
The grasslands of the wilderness overflow. The hills are clothed with joy.
The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys are clothed with grain. They shout for joy and sing.
