1A Psalm by David. Yahweh is my shepherd; I have everything I need.
2He lets me rest in green meadows. He leads me beside peaceful streams.
3He gives me new life. He guides me in the right path, as he has promised.
4Even if I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid of evil, for you are with me. Your shepherd's rod and staff comfort me.
5You prepare a meal for me in front of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, and my cup overflows.
6Surely your goodness and faithful love will be with me all my life, and I will live in Yahweh's house forever.
