1You must make an altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar must be square, and its height must be three cubits.
2You must make its horns on its four corners; its horns must be a single piece with it, and you must cover it with bronze.
3You must make its pots for removing ashes, its shovels, its basins, its meat hooks, and its fire pans; you must make all its utensils out of bronze.
4You must make a bronze grate with a network pattern for it, and on this net you must make four bronze rings at its four corners.
5You must place it under the ledge around the altar, beneath, so that the net reaches halfway up the altar.
6You must make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and cover them with bronze.
7Its poles must be inserted into the rings, and the poles must be on the two sides of the altar when it is carried.
8You must make it with hollow planks. They must make it exactly as it has been shown to you on the mountain.
9You must make the courtyard for the tabernacle: for the south side, facing south, there must be hangings for the courtyard made of fine twisted linen, one hundred cubits long for that side.
10Its posts must be twenty, and their bases must be twenty, made of bronze; the hooks for the posts and their connecting rods must be made of silver.
11Similarly, for the north side, there must be hangings one hundred cubits long, and its posts twenty, and their bases twenty, made of bronze; the hooks for the posts and their connecting rods must be made of silver.
12For the width of the courtyard on the west side, there must be hangings fifty cubits long; their posts ten, and their bases ten.
13The width of the courtyard on the east side, facing east, must be fifty cubits.
14The hangings for one side of the gate must be fifteen cubits long; their posts three, and their bases three.
15For the other side, there must be hangings fifteen cubits long; their posts three, and their bases three.
16For the gate of the courtyard, there must be a screen twenty cubits long, made of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine twisted linen, decorated with embroidery; its posts four, and its bases four.
17All the posts of the courtyard all around must be connected with silver rods; their hooks must be made of silver, and their bases of bronze.
18The length of the courtyard must be one hundred cubits, and the width fifty cubits everywhere, and the height five cubits, made of fine twisted linen, and their bases of bronze.
19All the equipment of the Tent of Meeting, used for all its services, including all its pegs and all the pegs for the courtyard, must be made of bronze.
20“You must command the people of Israel to bring you pure, pressed olive oil for the light, so that a lamp can burn continuously.
21Aaron and his sons must keep it burning from evening until morning before Yahweh in the Tent of Meeting, outside the curtain that hangs in front of the Acknowledgment. This is a law for the people of Israel to follow forever through all their generations.
