Each curtain should be 28 cubits long and 4 cubits wide. All the curtains must be the same size.
Five curtains will be connected to each other, and the other five curtains will be connected to each other.
You must make blue loops along the edge of one curtain at the connecting point, and you will do the same along the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set of connected curtains.
You will make fifty loops on one curtain, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain in the second set of connected curtains. The loops should be directly opposite each other.
You must make fifty gold clasps and use them to connect the curtains to each other so that the place of worship becomes a single unit.
"You will make curtains from goat hair to serve as a covering over the place of worship. You will make eleven of these curtains.
Each curtain should be thirty cubits long and four cubits wide; all eleven curtains must be the same size.
You will connect five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves. You will fold the sixth curtain over at the front of the tent.
You must make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outermost in the first set of connected curtains, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set of connected curtains.
You will make fifty bronze clasps and insert them into the loops to connect the tent together, making it one single piece.
The remaining overhanging part of the tent curtains, the half-curtain that is left over, will hang over the back of the place of worship.
The extra cubit (about 18 inches) on each side that remains from the length of the tent curtains will hang over the sides of the place of worship, covering it.
You must make a covering for the tent using ram skins dyed red, and a covering of sea cow hides on top of that.
"You will make the wooden frames for the place of worship from acacia wood, standing upright.
Each board will be 10 cubits long and 1.5 cubits wide.
Each board will have two projections that connect to each other. You are to make all the boards for the tabernacle this way.
You are to make 20 boards for the south side of the tabernacle.
Under the 20 boards, you will make 40 silver bases: two bases under each board for its two projections.
For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north, make 20 boards,
and 40 silver bases for them; two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.
For the back part of the tabernacle, on the west, you will make six boards.
You will make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the back.
These corner boards will be joined together from the bottom all the way to a single ring at the top. Both corner boards will be made this way.
There will be eight boards in total for this section, with 16 silver bases; two bases under each board.
"You are to make poles from acacia wood: five for the boards on one side of the tabernacle,
five poles for the boards on the other side of the tabernacle, and five poles for the boards on the west side of the tabernacle, at the back.
The middle pole will pass through the boards from one end to the other.
You will cover the boards with gold, and make gold rings for the poles to pass through. You will also cover the poles with gold.
You must set up the tabernacle exactly as you were shown on the mountain.
"You will make a curtain from blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine twisted linen, with images of cherubim skillfully woven into it.
You will hang it on four posts of acacia wood covered with gold, using gold hooks, and place these posts in four silver bases.
You will hang the curtain under the clasps and bring the Ark of the Covenant inside, behind the curtain. This curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place for you.
You will place the Atonement Cover on the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place.
You will put the table outside the curtain, and the lampstand opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle. You will put the table on the north side."
