A man who has been castrated by crushing or cutting his genitals must not be allowed into Yahweh's assembly.
Someone born from an illegal or forbidden sexual union must not be allowed into Yahweh's assembly. Not even his descendants up to the tenth generation may enter Yahweh's assembly.
An Ammonite or a Moabite must not be allowed into Yahweh's assembly. Not even their descendants up to the tenth generation may ever enter Yahweh's assembly.
This is because they did not offer you food and water when you left Egypt, and because they hired Balaam son of Beor from Pethor in Mesopotamia to curse you.
However, Yahweh your God would not listen to Balaam. Instead, Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because Yahweh your God loved you.
You must never, as long as you live, seek their peace or their prosperity.
You must not hate an Edomite, because he is your relative. You must not hate an Egyptian, because you lived as foreigners in their land.
The children born to them in the third generation may enter Yahweh's assembly.
When you go out and set up camp against your enemies, you must keep yourselves from every evil thing.
If there is any man among you who becomes unclean because of a discharge during the night, he must go outside the camp and not come back inside.
But when evening comes, he must wash himself with water, and after the sun has set, he may come back into the camp.
You must also have a designated place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourselves.
You must carry a small shovel among your weapons. When you go to relieve yourself, you must dig a hole with it and then cover your waste.
This is because Yahweh your God walks through the middle of your camp to protect you and to hand over your enemies to you. Therefore, your camp must be holy, so that he does not see anything unclean among you and turn away from you.
You must not return a slave to his master if he has escaped from his master and come to you.
He may live with you in your community, in any place he chooses within your cities, wherever he is most comfortable. You must not mistreat him.
There must not be any female prostitute among the women of Israel, nor any male prostitute among the men of Israel.
You must not bring money earned from a female prostitute or a male prostitute into the house of Yahweh your God to fulfill any promise you made to God. Both of these are disgusting to Yahweh your God.
You must not charge your fellow Israelite interest on money, food, or anything else that you lend.
You may charge a foreigner interest, but you must not charge your fellow Israelite interest. Do this so that Yahweh your God may bless you in everything you do in the land you are about to enter and possess.
When you make a promise to Yahweh your God, you must be careful to keep it, because Yahweh your God will certainly hold you accountable if you don't. That would be a sin.
But if you choose not to make a promise, then you have not sinned.
You must faithfully do whatever you have promised with your lips. You must carry out whatever you willingly offered to Yahweh your God, just as you promised with your own mouth.
When you enter your neighbor's vineyard, you may eat as many grapes as you want until you are full, but you must not put any in your basket.
When you enter your neighbor's standing grain, you may pluck heads of grain with your hand, but you must not use a sickle on your neighbor's standing grain.
