1A Psalm. Sing a new song to Yahweh, for he has done amazing things! By his own power and holy strength, he has won victory.
2Yahweh has made his victory known. He has openly shown his justice for all the nations to see.
3He remembered his constant love and loyalty to the people of Israel. Everyone on earth has seen the victory of our God.
4Shout with joy to Yahweh, all the earth! Be joyful and sing, yes, sing praises!
5Sing praises to Yahweh with a harp, with a harp and the sound of music.
6With trumpets and the sound of the ram's horn, shout for joy before the King, Yahweh.
7Let the sea roar with everything in it; the world, and everyone living in it.
8Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.
9Let them sing before Yahweh, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world fairly, and the people with justice.
