By David. I call to you, Yahweh. My rock, don't ignore me; if you stay silent, I will be like those who go down into the grave.
Hear my pleas when I cry to you, when I lift my hands towards your Most Holy Place.
Don't take me away with evil people, with those who do wrong and speak peacefully to their neighbors, but have wickedness in their hearts.
Punish them for what they do, and for their evil actions. Give them what their hands deserve. Make what they have done come back on them.
Because they don't respect what Yahweh has made, nor what he has done, he will tear them down and not rebuild them.
Praise Yahweh, because he has heard my pleas.
Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted in him, and I was helped. So my heart rejoices greatly. With my song, I will thank him.
Yahweh is their strength. He is a safe place of salvation for his chosen one.
Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd and carry them forever.
