Chapter 29

Israel's long journey through the desert.

1“On the first day of the seventh month, you must hold a sacred assembly. You must not do any regular work. It is a day for you to blow trumpets.

2You must offer a burnt offering with a pleasing smell to Yahweh: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs, each a year old and without defects.

3Their grain offering should be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths of an ephah for the ram,

4and one-tenth of an ephah for each of the seven lambs.

5You must also offer one male goat as a sin offering, to make atonement for you.

6These are in addition to the New Moon's burnt offering and its grain offering, and the daily burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings, all offered according to their regulations, making a pleasing smell, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

7On the tenth day of the seventh month, you must hold a holy assembly. You must deny yourselves and not do any work.

8Instead, you must offer a burnt offering to Yahweh as a pleasing aroma: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs, all one year old and without any defects.

9You must also include their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil: 6.6 pounds for the bull, 4.4 pounds for the one ram,

10and 2.2 pounds for each of the seven lambs.

11Offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the sin offering for atonement, the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and their drink offerings.

12On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, you must hold a holy assembly. You must not do any regular work. You must celebrate a festival to Yahweh for seven days.

13You must offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to Yahweh: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs, all one year old and without defects.

14Also include their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil: 6.6 pounds for each of the thirteen bulls, 4.4 pounds for each of the two rams,

15and 2.2 pounds for each of the fourteen lambs.

16And offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

17On the second day, you must offer twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs, all one year old and without defects.

18Include their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to their numbers, as prescribed.

19And offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering, with its grain offering and their drink offerings.

20On the third day, offer eleven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs, all one year old and without defects.

21Include their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to their numbers, as prescribed.

22And offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

23On the fourth day, offer ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs, all one year old and without defects.

24Include their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to their numbers, as prescribed.

25And offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

26On the fifth day, offer nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs, all one year old and without defects.

27Include their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to their numbers, as prescribed.

28And offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

29On the sixth day, offer eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs, all one year old and without defects.

30Include their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to their numbers, as prescribed.

31And offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offerings.

32On the seventh day, you must offer seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs, all one year old and without any flaws.

33You must also offer the grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to their number, as required by law.

34And one male goat for a sin offering, in addition to the regular daily burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

35On the eighth day, you must have a special assembly; you must not do any regular work.

36Instead, you must present a burnt offering, a food offering made by fire, for Yahweh, which will have a pleasing smell: one bull, one ram, and seven male lambs, all one year old and without any flaws.

37The grain offerings and drink offerings for the bull, ram, and lambs must be offered according to their number, as required by law.

38And one male goat for a sin offering, in addition to the regular daily burnt offering, with its grain offering and its drink offering.

39You must present these offerings to Yahweh during your appointed festivals, besides your personal vows and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings, and peace offerings.

40Moses told the people of Israel everything that Yahweh had commanded him.
