Bezalel made the Ark from acacia wood. It was 3.75 feet long, 2.25 feet wide, and 2.25 feet high.
He covered it with pure gold inside and out, and made a gold molding around its top.
He cast four gold rings for it, one at each of its four feet; two rings on one side and two rings on the other side.
He made poles of acacia wood and covered them with gold.
He put the poles through the rings on the sides of the Ark to carry it.
He made a mercy seat of pure gold. It was 3.75 feet long and 2.25 feet wide.
He made two gold cherubim. He made them by hammering gold into shape, placing one at each end of the mercy seat.
He made one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other. He made the cherubim from the same piece of gold as the mercy seat at its two ends.
The cherubim spread their wings upwards, covering the mercy seat with their wings. Their faces were turned towards each other, and also towards the mercy seat.
He made the table from acacia wood. It was 3 feet long, 1 1/2 feet wide, and 2 1/4 feet high.
He covered it with pure gold and put a gold frame around its edge.
He made a border about 3 inches wide around it, and then put a gold frame on this border.
He cast four gold rings for the table and placed them at its four corners, where its four legs were.
The rings were close to the border, and they were meant to hold the poles used to carry the table.
He made the poles from acacia wood and covered them with gold to carry the table.
He made all the items for the table—its dishes, spoons, bowls, and pitchers for pouring—out of pure gold.
He made the lampstand of pure gold. It was made by hammering the gold into shape, including its base, its stand, its cups, its decorative buds, and its flowers, all from one piece.
Six branches extended from its sides: three branches from one side of the lampstand and three branches from the other side.
Each of the six branches had three cups shaped like almond blossoms, with a bud and a flower on each. The same was true for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.
On the main lampstand, there were four cups shaped like almond blossoms, with its buds and its flowers.
There was a bud under every two branches, all made from the same piece of gold, for all six branches extending from it.
Their buds and branches were all part of the same piece. The entire lampstand was one piece of pure, hammered gold.
He made its seven lamps, its wick trimmers, and its trays, all of pure gold.
He made it, along with all its accessories, from about 75 pounds of pure gold.
He made the altar of incense from acacia wood. It was square, 1 1/2 feet long and 1 1/2 feet wide. It was 3 feet high, and its horn-like projections were made from the same piece.
He covered its top, its sides, and its horn-like projections with pure gold. He also put a gold frame around its edge.
Under its molding, he made two gold rings on its two sides, so poles could be put through them to carry it.
He made these poles from acacia wood and covered them with gold.
He prepared the holy anointing oil and the pure, sweet-smelling incense, made by an expert perfumer.
