1A Psalm by David. I will sing about faithful love and justice. I will sing praises to you, Yahweh.
2I will be careful to live a blameless life. When will you come to me? I will live with a blameless heart inside my home.
3I will not tolerate anything evil. I hate what faithless people do; it will not corrupt me.
4A twisted heart will be far from me. I will have nothing to do with evil.
5I will silence anyone who secretly slanders their neighbor. I will not tolerate anyone who is proud and arrogant.
6My eyes will be on the faithful people of the land, so they can live with me. Whoever lives a perfect life will serve me.
7Anyone who practices deceit will not live in my house. Anyone who tells lies will not remain in my presence.
8Every morning, I will destroy all the wicked people in the land; I will remove all who do evil from Yahweh's city.
